L'Albereta hotel is located near Lake Iseo in the Franciacorta area. This stunning 19th century villa is the creation of the Moretti family who own two local vineyards producing exceptional wines. The hotel is decorated with a blend of contemporary furnishings as well as antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries. The main villa has a beautiful indoor pool with waterfall, Jacuzzi and a glass wall that opens during warm weather. In 2003, the hotel opened a fabulous 15,000 square foot state-of-the-art spa with huge fitness center, a large indoor swimming pool with whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, and every manner of health and beauty treatment. Anti-aging therapies as well as regenerating body and face massages are also available. Other diversions include tennis, billiards and a very tempting gift shop. The hotel's famous restaurant, Gualtiero Marchesi, open six days per week, boasts two prestigious Michelin stars. Complimentary tours and wine tasting at two local vineyards, Contadi Castaldi and Bellavista, can be arranged.
