The Hotel Azzi-Locanda degli Artisti is located in the city center, at only 5 minutes walking distance from the train station and Congress area and 10 minutes walking from the Cathedral. Housed in the old building once the home of the Barbera typography it was originally part of a monastery which since the 14th century hosted travellers and pilgrims: its combination of culture and hospitality has made of it a favourite place for artists, writers, painters and theatre people. The hotel has an outside terrace on the back side of the hotel and an American bar. The hotel offers its guests all the necessary information about the museums, tours inside and outside of the city, restaurants and the horse riding school. On the ground floor we find three suites of different colour, decorated with antique or particular furnishings. A selection of books, records or special aromas is available on request: one suite is equipped with a Jacuzzi. On the first floor we find: 12 large, bright rooms with private bathrooms, most of them facing a quiet courtyard.
