Superior Tourist class hotel. All rooms of this hotel are efficient and decorated with good taste. The most famous museums containing renewed works of art are only a few steps away. During the period when Florence was the capital of Italy many changes were carried out, mainly by Guiseppe Poeei, to adapt the city to it's new role. This was when via De Calzaivoli was widened and staightened and this is why the building is a 19th century facade although concealed inside are the remains of a medieval tower (there is for example a little gothic window).
