The Copenhagen Strand hotel is centrally located in the fashionable quarter in the heart of Copenhagen - around the Nyhavn Canal, The Royal Theatre and Kongens Nytorv. The hotel is situated on the waterfront in one of the harbour's original warehouses. The building dates back to 1869 and through the years it has, for instance, housed a cardboard box factory and a paper mill. The old buildings are beautifully and carefully restored, and the decor is rustic and maritime, making it one of Copenhagen's most charming hotels with a fantastic atmosphere.
