The Radisson Plaza Hotel, Sydney occupies a prime land mark position on the corner of Pitt, Hunter and O'Connell Streets originally built in the 1800's, this stunning piece of Sydney's history was once the headquarters of one of the country's most venerable companies, John Fairfax Ltd. Up until the 1950's newspapers were still printed here. On the outside little has changed, though the facade has been restored to its former glory superb Hawkesbury sandstone. Hotel function rooms, accessible directly from Pitt Street, can accommodate events for up to 250 people, cocktail style, and they are sub-divisible for breakout requirements. The health club and pool are situated on the mezzanine level of the hotel. The 15 metre lap pool is bathed in natural sunlight from thirteen floors above.
