View Hotel was opened in Monument Valley Tribe Park – in a unique
geological formation located in the USA along the boundary between Arizona and Utah on
the reservation territory of Indian tribe Navajo. Every year about 300 tourists
visit this valley also because some episodes of famous films were shoot here
(for example, of Forrest Gump). In spite of a huge popularity, earlier
travelers could stay on the territory of this park only in camping. Nowadays the
price in the hotel begins from 95 dollars. Guests of View Hotel can observe a
luxury view of a valley mostly from every room, but living in Star View rooms
they can also see prominent rocks of valley – Mittens and Merrick Butte. Every
room is equipped with TV-set, fridge, coffee maker, microwave and
air-conditioner. Smoking is not allowed at the hotel. Dogs are also not allowed.
Guests of View Hotel can taste a traditional Indian cuisine, in particular,
Navajo’s cuisine, in a hotel restaurant, but they should refrain from alcohol,
because it is forbidden on Navajo’s territory. You can buy carpets, ceramics and
jewelry in a hotel shop. Moreover, View Hotel presents business center with the
Internet access and fitness-center.
