The luxurious bakery opened at The Plaza, New York
Last week-end The Plaza Hotel in New York has introduced
a luxurious Demel Bakery – the successor of the famous pastry-shop, renowned for
its delicious finger-licking pastries.
The hotel guests will find the
mahogany, red and gilded-coloured bakery on the Plaza’s ground floor. Russian
punsch torte, Dobos torte, Esterhazy torte with almonds, and the more
traditional apple strudel are all waiting for you. The chef of the pastry is
Jamal Edwards.
Visitors are
also offered delicious coffees. Prizes for cakes vary from 5 to 8
dollars per slice.
