Jureirah signs fifth European property
The UAE brand Jumeirah will open its fifth European
property – this time in Scottish Glasgow. The Jumeirah Glasgow Hotel will occupy a modern 25-storied building in the
financial city centre and will become one the most luxurious British
properties.
The hotel will contain 160 guestrooms and suites along with
85 apartments for longer stays. Guests will have an option of several
restaurants and bars, one on the rooftop. Leisure facilities will include a
swimming pool, fitness centre, the brand’s signature Talise Wellness Spa and a
conference hall for 63 delegates. The hotel is scheduled to open in
2011.
Jumeirah Group owns luxurious
hotels in Dubai, including Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Its future
plans include
new openings in UAE, Jordan, Quatar, Thailand, China, Argentina, Spain and the
American Virgin Islands.
