Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts Develop in the U.S.A. and Americas Region

During the last 30 months there was a tremendous increase of Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts in the USA, Mexico and Canada. The number of hotels has grown from 13 to 21. One of the most popular international hotel brand in the world signed 12 hotels for the first six months of 2008, besides 4 of these hotels were opened in America. It should be pointed that since 2006 the number of the hotels from this chain was even tripled.

A month before Intercontinental declared about the opening of 3 hotels in American region within 10 days. Thus at the beginning of September 2008 these hotels were opened in Chicago, Mexico and Costa Rica. In November 2008 the chain planes to open Intercontinental Resort and Spa in Arizona.
