Starwood will double its presence in Poland
Starwood Hotels & Resort Worldwide Inc. are goind to
invest considerable amounts into its new hotels in Poland. The number of its
properties in the country will double during the next several years. The company
also plans promotion of its new brand in the Polish market.
Nowadays
Starwood has 1500 rooms in six 5-star hotels in the country. Those are Sheratons in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan and Sopot, a Westin hotel and one Le
Meridien hotel in Warsaw, as written by TTG Polska. Poland has a potential for
the development of Four Points by Sheraton or Aloft brands. The company is most
interested in such cities as Katowice, Wroclaw and Lodz.
