Thalys offers internet access
Thalys, the high-speed railway network connecting Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam
and Cologne, now offers internet access. The service is free for first class
passengers and is available at 6,5 Euros per hour or 13 Euros for the entire
trip for the second class passengers. Payment can be processed via the internet
or by pre-payment cards.
At the moment only 7 Thalys trains (25 percent) offer wireless
access. The rest of the 26 train sets are scheduled to be equipped with Wi-fi by
October. Thalys is the first operator to offer internet access on cross-border
high-speed trains.
