Hennessy and Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong present the Beaute du Siecle
Everyone has heard of Hennessy. Now this legendary cognac
brand together with hotel Island
Shangri-La, Hong Kong organizes an invite-only charity dinner. The headlight
of the event is an auction where a bottle of Beauté du Siècle cognac to be sold.
The proceeds will be given to"Care for Children", Shangri-La’s corporate charity
partner.
"Beauté du Siècle" is a rare cognac – there has been made only
100 bottles of it – in the honor of 100th birthday of Kilian Hennessy, former
Chairman and visionary leader of the House of Hennessy. Sotheby’s will host the
charity auction with the opening bid is HK$1,680,000 and every bid price
thereafter is a minimum HK$100,000.
Several days before the charity
auction dinner, Hennessy and Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong will open a public
exhibition (21 - 25 April 2008) to showcase the exquisite "Beauté du
Siècle".
