Accor develops Ibis and Formule 1 brands in Brazil
Accor announces the signing of the
contract with one of the main Brazilian real estate investors - Walter Torre –
concerning a development of a network of 20 Formule 1 and
Ibis hotels in Brazil by 2010. The project
includes about 5,000 rooms and an estimated total investment of about EUR 200
million.
According to this partnership agreement, 13 new Ibis hotels will
be opened in 10 cities in Brazil – among them are Rio de
Janeiro, Brasilia and Sao Paulo. As for
Formule 1, 7 new hotels of the brand will appear in 7 cities, including Porto Alegre.
