Shanghai Pudong Airport opens Terminal 2
Shanghai Pudong airport (China) now has a second terminal which
is twice as big as the old one. The terminal is capable of transporting 40
million passengers annually. Passengers can take advantage of the free wireless
internet access througout the terminal, as well as shuttle bus which connects
two terminals and operates every 15 minutes, 6.00 – 21.00. Terminals are
connected by a new transport centre, which also provides a choice of transfer by
subway, airport bus, coach, and taxi.
The new terminal will service 33 airlines. Some of them have
already settled at Terminal 2 on March
26th . Those are
Shanghai Airlines, Air India, Alitalia, British Airways, Garuda Indonesia and
others.
