Italian Author Augusto Cavadi has written a book for tourists who
want to know more about Sicilian mafia, its history and traditions. Cavadi
answers the most frequently asked questions and debunks myths about Cosa Nostra.
The 55-page pocketbook is called “Mafia For Tourists” and is
available in five languages – Japanese, German, English, Spanish and French.
Readers can learn whether it is really that dangerous to walk the streets of
Sicily, and what modern mafia looks like. Moreover, the author gives most
curious facts like whether its true that Mafia don’t kill women, children and
priests.
The author of the book is a philosophy professor and a lecturer
on the Mafia at Palermo University who is thought to be a true expect on the
subject. He also provides readers with the list of books and movies dedicated to
Mafia. Needless to say, the Godfather is among them.
