Budapest Spring Festival
 Those fond of culture are advised to hump to Hungary since 14 March the
country’s capital, Budapest hosts the Budapest Spring Festival. Until March
30th city guests can visit numerous classic, folk and jazz music
concerts, theatre and opera performances, exhibitions and other events.
The festival starts with a concert by the Bayerisches Staatsorchester
conducted by Kent Nagano. The orchestra will perform at the Palace of Arts -
Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. Fans of classics might also be interested in
the concert by the Bamberg Symphony Orhestra conducted by Ádám Fischer and a
concert by the Monteverdi Choir and The English Baroque Soloists. If you prefer
something relaxing, go to the Palace of Arts to hear the Blind Boys of Alabama
sing. Those fond of folk music – don’t miss the Muzsikás Ensemble at the Italian
Institute of Culture.
