New Accor hotels for Vietnam
Accor announced expansion in Vietnam, which became highly visited
during the last years. The company will launch the Pullman and Mercure brands in
the country and will supplement the already exhisting Novotel brand with new
properties.
Accor has already opened its first full representative office in
Vietnam’s capital, Ho Chi Minh City and plans to increase the number of hotels
from 8 to at least 20 by 2010. Pullman hotels will appear in the country’s most
rapidly developing travel regions of Lao Cai and Vung Tau: Pullman Lao Cai will
open in 2011 260 kilometers north-west of Hanoi. Opening of Pullman Vung Tau in
the province’s capital city Ba Ria is planned for early 2010.
New Mercury properties: Mercure Hanoi La Gare and Mercure Hanoi Hado
will open their doors in 2009 and 2010. As for Novotel, several of its hotels
are scheduled to be opened in 2008 already. Such are the Novotel Halong Bay and
Novotel Nha Trang. In 2009-2010 the list of Vietnamese Novoitel hotels will be
supplemented by Novotel Hoi An Imperial Resort and Novotel Hanoi On The Park.
