 The Austrian hotel Bioferienhotel
Mandler’s Landhaus (in Irschen, a village by the Alps) has developed its own way
to fight obesity. The hotel charges for “extra” weight: guests with overweight
pay more than then well-composed ones, who even have bargain deals at the hotel.
Spokesman of this
organic-food hotel comments that these measures stimulate people to changes in their diet
and some fitness training. Rates are indivilual and are defined after the guest
is weighed at the reception.
