Grand Hyatt Singapore to launch new green projects
Grand Hyatt Singapore goes on
with its green projects. Over the past 8 years several projects of the kind were
launched at the hotel, including the Green Energy Management Project (GEM).
Thanks to these efforts Grand Hyatt Singapore has won several awards like the
ASEAN Energy Awards (Retrofitted Building Category) and the Singapore BCA Energy
Efficient Building Awards.
The hotel’s future plans include
further green initiatives. For instance, it plans to recycle water from the
laundry plant for non-potable application, recycle glass and paper, and recover
waste oil. Besides, the hotel is currently working on a Trigeneration concept
which means simultaneous production of heat, power and cooling from natural gas.
Thanks to the projects like this, the hotel will definitely help keep the
environment clean.
