Brussels airport will open a low-cost terminal
Brussels airport (at Zaventem, near Brussels), the largest airport in
Belgium, announced its plans to open a low-cost terminal for budget airlines
next year. The terminal will hopefully accept up to 4 million passengers per
year.
The terminal won’t have the comforts like covered gateways and loungers,
however, thanks to it the airport will offer cheaper week-end flights and faster
service. The main low-fare airline to have a regular service at the new terminal
is easyJet.
Currently there is another low-cost terminal located not far from Brussels.
The terminal is a part of Charleroi airport and is mainly used by Ryanair.
