Aquaworld water park to be opened in Budapest in October
 The largest water theme park in Central Europe, Aquaworld, is scheduled to
open in Budapest, Hungary, October this year. Located on a 86 thousand sq. metre
territory, the park will contain various facilities: 17 swimming pools
(including a wave pool and a surf pool), a diving tower, slides, sauna, fitness
sections, a lido, kids’ playground area and a car park.
There will also be a four-star Ramada Plaza hotel for 309 rooms (28 junior
suites, 8 suites and 2 presidential suites) constructed on the site. Ramada
Plaza will comprise a conference centre, lobby area, outdoor and indoor
terraces, a restaurant, private banquet room, wellness centre and more.
Connecting the main hotel building there will be an apartment house with flats
for longer stays.
