Cafe tram in Krakow
Travelers to Krakow can now use public transport not only to move around the
city, but also to observe its attractions by a cup of tea or coffee. The city
now has an unusual tram service, café tram, which is a new way to travel around
Krakow. The tram interior is designed in 1920s’ style: soft plush sofas, copper
decorations, stylish curtains, patterned ceiling - all this brings passengers
into the atmosphere of the past.
The tram has 39 seats and is equipped with three liquid-crystal displays and
climate control systems. Passengers can choose either a trip by the sounds of
music or a guided tour around the city attractions. The tram stops at Wawrzyńca
and Dominikańska streets and works 4 days a week – Thursday to Sunday. Tours for
more than 15 persons are organised during the rest of the week.
