Highest buildings completed in 2007
 CTBUH - Council on Tall Buildings and Urban
Habitat - announced the list of the tallest buildings completed in 2007. The
winner is a 72-storied Rose Rotana Tower hotel in Dubai, UAE. The building is
333 meters high, total area - 51,5 thousand square meters. Construction of this hotel
took 3 years, its lower floors are occupied with residential apartments. Rose
Rotana Tower is also 19th in the list of the tallest
buildings constructed during the last century.
The
second is New York Times
Tower, Manhattan, New York, the third is China International Center Tower,
Guangzhou (China). The fourth place goes to Naberezhnaya Tower C in Moscow,
Russia and the fifth is Panorama Hotel in Hong Kong.
