Spain invites to cider festival
Pais Vasco in Spain celebrates the opening of
cider festival. Cider is a traditional low alcohol drink made of apples. The
total amount of cider to be drunk during the event is 12 million (!)
liters.
The word “cider” is used by EU only for the drink made in
Northern Spain and France. Traditionally it’s made by family companies, but now
big corporations begin to concentrate this business in their hands and sometimes
the quality of cider suffers.
