What islands to go to?
According to National Geographic Traveler research,
Faroe Islands (Denmark) were voted the best island group in the world. 522
volunteer expert judges said it’s a unique destination, notable for
well-preserved nature, kindness of local inhabitants, delicious cuisine and rich
cultural heritage. Another important fact is that local ecology will stay
unspoiled in the foreseeable future.
The second position went to the Azores, Portugal, renowned
for their picturesque volcanic mountains. The third is Lofoten island group
(Norway). And the last is Spanish Ibiza, which has long lost its allurement
because of the great amount of clubbers spending their time here.
