7 wonders of Hungary
Hungarian magazine Kisalfold has decided to choose seven
most beautiful attractions in Gyor-Moson-Sopron region
(Western Hungary
). The survey has lasted
for 3 months. About 10,000 took part in it.
Surprisingly, the main sightseeing of the district - Eszterhazy-kastely
palace in Fertod has not been included in the list.
According to the poll the most attractive objects in the region are
Mithras-szentely cave in Fertorakos, Postakocsi Fogado tavern in Gonyu, the
church in Lebeny, churches in Mosonszentmiklos, Pannonhalmi Apatsag abbey, fire
tower in Sopron and Mary Magdalene church in Sopronbanfalva.
