An underwater hotel will be built in Fiji!

In middle of 2008 near one of private Fiji’s island an underwater hotel “Poseidon’ is to be opened. It’s supposed to be the first hotel in-group of underwater hotels of Poseidon Undersea Resort. According to project the hotel will be at the bottom of a lagoon at 13 metres depth. A visibility in water of lagoon is 60-70 metres. On the island, near this future hotel, already exists a resort complex with its infrastructure and runway. The hotel will be connected with 2 piers, directed to a lift.   A land (insular) part of complex will be consisted of  48  firs-class bungalows, with the view on lagoon, an every bungalow has own swimming pool. Also it’s planed to build an area for golf with 9 holes, a tennis-court, 2 spa-salons (one of them will be underwater), 3 restaurants, 2 bars, diving-center, a center for water kinds of sport and a berth for mini underwater boats. An underwater part will consist of 24 rooms, a restaurant/bar, a conference hall, spa-salon and a wedding room. The best room will be Nautilis Suite. A package for habitation will include 6 nights (2 nights in underwater part of complex and 4 nights in bungalow on the cost) on system “all inclusive”(including a delivery of guests from international airports of Fiji on own airplanes). The package costs $15,000. Total area of hotel is 100,000 square meters. The hotel will be plunged into underwater at 12 metres depth. A construction will be raised on steel frame, where will be set into the special profiles of acrylic windows sashes. One night in hotel costs $1500. For more rich clients exists two-room penthouses, $20,000- per night. This room will be raised above reef’s brink. To get there will be possible only on underwater boat. The guests will be able to meet with celebrities, study diving, swim with dolphins, go to excursions on a submarine and visit a revolving restaurant.
