Camel market – new tourist attraction in Egypt
Camel market situated not far from Egyptian capital Cairo has become one of the
popular tourist attractions – those tired of pyramids and museums and seeking
for some exotic experience, come here every day. The market is located in
Burkash, in the valley of Nile.
Tourist infrastructure is not on a high
level here - asphalt roads are still something new in Burkash. Tourists have to
pay for seeing the market. It’s the largest camel market in the country. Camel’s
meat is popular dish in Egypt, but some camels are sold for taking part in the
races.
