Five-star hotel that was called as the most exclusive hotel in Russia will
be opened on Tverskaya street in
Moscow. It’s the first hotel of the chain
Mandarin Oriental in Russia. The hotel with 250 rooms will be built in a strange
conception “upside down” with a lobby-bar and the reception on the last floor
where guests can observe wonderful sights of Kremlin and the Red Square.
Mandarin Oriental hotel will be located in a 19
th century building that will be renovated and
overbuilt. Historical building façade, the first floor and some original
apartments will be preserved. The nine floor of the hotel will be occupied by a
restaurant with a view on the Red Square. Moreover, on the territory of the
hotel will be underground parking, Spa-center, indoor swimming pool, fitness
club and some restaurants and bars. The building of the hotel starts at the end
of this year and the first guest are planned to welcome in 2011.
