Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts have signed an agreement
with China Huaming International Investment Corporation about the building of a
new hotel in
Moscow that will become the first hotel of this chain in
Russia.
The hotel with 400 rooms will be opened in 2012. It’ll be located on the upper
floor of a Chinese business-center in 42d skyscraper. The minimum size of
a room will be 40 square meters. Menu in a restaurant will be oriented on
Russian and Chinese cuisine. The hotel offers a banquet room (1200 sq. m.) for
arrangements and a lecture-hall (700 sq. m.) for meetings and conferences. Among
other entertainments in the hotel guests can use an indoor swimming pool and a
sport club. Park Huaming Business Center will include office center, service
building, exhibition hall and recreation area, designed as a Chinese garden with
pavilions, restaurants and shops.
