I with my husband spent 4 days in Amsterdam and chose this hotel thanks to Tripadvisor. The hotel really appeared to be perfect. The window in our room faced the square so I liked to look through the

window on pedestrians. The food in the restaurant was delicious but it worked only till 11 p.m. I liked this cozy hotel very much!

We liked it a lot. traveled through Amsterdam in March and stayed here a night. Staff is very helpful. The room was clean. Some rooms face the street, so we've heard from the others that it was s

o noisy at night, but still it depends. Just keep it in mind.\nThe sights are within a walking distance: Red Light district, shopping area, lots of cafes all around to spend the evening.\nOne more prof of NH chain quality.

It's a great choice, no doubts!\nLocation is perfect! It's only regret, the parking lot is too restricted, you are better to reserve it beforehand. \nWe liked the massage there, and meal ser

vice too! It's expensive rather, but the hotel chain and rate category obliges.\nAlso, it's an amazing view from the hotel room, at the famous Rembrandtplein, as well as the hotel closure to all those shops and attractions!

I loved my stay at the NH Schiller Hotel very much! First of all its location is brilliant. It took me 2 minutes to reach several famous Amsterdam sights, and thus saved me a little time and let me to

see more interesting and well-known city's landmarks. And also I have appreciated the extremely delicious Dutch cuisine at the hotel's restaurant) One should definitely taste these delicious meals!

Shouting like “Wow!”, that was all I did when I saw the Schiller Hotel for the first time;) I had found the fabulous exterior of that property really fascinating, and a little bit later I had apprecia

ted my guestroom. It was very clean and bright, with a comfortable bed and with all necessary amenities (even more than I need). I guess I should mention perfect meals, which were served in the hotel ' s restaurant. And just for information: NH Schiller Hotel is located in the city center, and this allowed me to visit most of the Amsterdam sights by foot) I really enjoyed walking there!\r\n

The hotel is 1.5 km from Centraal Station, to get there you can take the tram's routes 9 and 16 or take a walk for a half an hour, it is not difficult to reach at all, The hotel is located near D

am Square.\n\nIt is an old building with some uncomfortable things that it means like narrow and steep stairs which are not easy to climb, there were also two elevators, one was very old, no door, which had to mount one by one if you have a suitcaes with you. The other elevator, modern one, was always occupied by hotel staff all the week, so we never succeeded to use it!\n\nRegarding the staff I have to say they were very correct and polite. Yes, the were speaking only in English, although it is true that they were trying to make understood themselves.\n\nBreakfast is a bit expensive as for me, about 18 € / person. Though it is fairly complete, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, salads, sausages, coffee, tea, etc. .. and pastries every morning just put 16 Donettes, four of each flavor, I assure you that no replenished and many hotel rooms ... By the way, the restaurant's daily menu was 35 €, imagine the menu ..\n\nSurrounded with italians and evern argentinian restaurants there are a lot of places to eat properly for about 16 € / person. There are also several pubs and a coffee shop on the area. By the way, to have a breakfast at nearby cafes costs for 8 € just as well as on site.\n\nBy the way, free internet in the lobby is only for 30 minutes and then you have to go to ask the keys every day. In room it costs 10 € per 24 hours.\n\nAlthough I feel a little cheated, if returning to Amsterdam is likely to elect the Schiller again.

We liked the NH Schiller hotel very much, it has great and trully convenient location. All the sights and shops are available on foot. It is clean inside, and rooms itselves are comfortable, though wi

thout frills. My friend had a creaking bed in the room 608, but I had room number 408 and our friend had a room # 206 and there were no porblems with beds, everything was fine.\nThe hotel is ideally located near the tram stop 4, which takes you to the station. Standard room is large with huge windows and a balcony that overlooks the noisy Rembrandt Square. There's a kettle inside a room, so you can have breakfast in the room by yourself.\n\nIt is noisy almost all the time outside the window. There also is a coffee shop at the bottom of the hotel, thus there's a noise, but as far as we had very impressive programmes all days long I fell asleep without any problems from fatigue + caring hosts brought me earplugs. Overall you will like the hotel if you have planned bombastic programs during the day to get to sleep quickly. And maybe the building a little older but despite that, this hotel has a charm.
