Hotel reviews

At first I hesitated to book The Lloyd Hotel because it is situated not exactly in the center of Amsterdam. But the location appeared to be very good – only 2 tram stops and you in the center of the c

ity. In the first room we stayed was a moulded bath, rather weird but functional. The room was big, but we changed it because at night guests began to play the piano next door from our room and didn’t behave quiet. Our second room was also very nice and we were satisfied with the Lloyd Hotel.

I arrived at the Lloyd hotel very late after a long work meeting and was very surprised when the staff was very pleased and welcome with me-they joked and cheered me up. I was very tired and didn’t ob

serve the details of my room but when I woke up in the morning I couldn’t but notice the lightness in the room and it’s big sizes. One more thing that impressed me a lot was an art library in the hotel. Liked the staff very much and would stay here again!

I stayed at Lloyd Hotel in April with my husband. He loved the hotel very much but I didn’t find something special in it – rather pretty. The lobby in the hotel reminded me a hospital, the room was ve

ry clean and tidy but without useful items. For example, there wasn’t a mirror in full length and the mirror in the bathroom was too high so I had to use a chair to do my makeup. The breakfast was nice but too expensive. And the cost of the room was too high. In spite of all these rather convenient hotel, pleasant staff and clean and tidy rooms.

The hotel is really clean and stylish. We liked it much. Especially our room. It's more than 3 star category. We found everything we needed, and the staff was so lovely. Didn't want to leave

it.\nBesides they have child service! And it was all ok, while we're on a bike-riding. Thank you so much!\nThe hotel is a while at a distance from the centre, but there is a direct transport link that takes 10 minutes only to reach the center.\nWe'll be glad to stay there again!

It's quite good. The staff is polite and helpful. The interior is nice, not a luxury one, but the hotel's category explains it. the room was clean and light, bed is comfort too.\nThe hotel i

s only not the center, but you can rent a bike and it takes about 10 minutes to reach it.

I've fully appreciated my vacation spent in Amsterdam! I stayed there in the first class Lloyd Hotel and Cultural Embassy. The hotel location was perfect. I would call it a district for tourists:

I got up at 11 a.m. and went for a long-day walk and it took me only 5 days to visit all major city sights:) \nThe room I've booked was spacious and clean. And the whole accommodation itself left the impression of a modern and cozy place. I recommend this hotel!

Pretty decent 3 stars property in Amsterdam with a quite excellenc price - quality ratio.Though I had a confirmation and already paid for our stay at the hotel, we were asked for for a credit card (no

t debit one) at the desk to give a deposit of 50 € / night in case some day having breakfast or any damage we were doing. As not allow debit cards had to leave cash and every day we delvolvian € 50 last night.\n\nThe room we were in the basement play, dropping smelled musty. When we entered the room I found it a bit surpising: the shower in the middle of the room with a drain and a brush to sweep the water. So I have to admitt this hotel is for people with a desire to live in unusual circumstances and with a developed great sense of humor. High comfort, old hotel building, interior design solutions and thus - in the shower cabinet or closet with built-in garbage disposal. Not all of our friends were able to immediately find in their rooms showers and toilets, hidden behind false walls. But the discussions and emotions enough for all the trip. The rest - the standard high level of service, a tram stop 500 meters, 10 - 15 minutes by tram to the center. The desk people were very friendly.\n

It is an original place and full of history, with an exhibition on the evolution inside the hotel. The rooms are very original and differs from each other, especially the bathrooms. We enjoyed discove

ring a shelf of tea and coffee in the hallway, available at all times for anybody. The location is very good, right behind two tram lines and only two stops from the center.\n\nI liked the design of the hotel, it is original indeed and architecture worths to have a look. The restaurant where you have breakfast is very spacious and bright. I found the room very comfortable, very quiet and very well insulated. We were in a room with a private bathroom, and I also enjoyed the type confoort more modest room. I would go back again.\n\nThe hotel itself is quite nice, inside there are very nice places like the restaurant or the library. It is two tram stops from the central station. Very close to the tram stop. And our room was huge and comfortable.
