Hotel reviews

I with my boyfriend went on weekends to Amsterdam and decided to stay at a luxurious hotel, that's why we've chosen Amrath hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the building stroke us at firs

t sight. It is very big, beautiful and really looks fantastic! But it impressed us more inside. The staff was polite and showed us our room. It was very big and modern, all devices were highly new. The bed was so comfortable that we didn't want to wake up in the morning. We didn't breakfast at the hotel because Amsterdam is known for it delicious food, so we went to the nearest cafes and restaurants. Liked it very much and I wish I'll come back at Amrath hotel many times!

I found my three-day stay at the hotel absolutely convenient. The room was good enough, but not very big as I supposed it would be. The staff was helpful, but the concierge was not very attentive and

didn’t want to answer our questions. The hotel itself is very cosy. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast only because it costed 20 Euro. I went to the nearest restaurants (Amsterdam is popular for a great number of cafes) and took a snack there.Highly appreciate Amrath Amsterdam!

Stayed at Grand Hotel Amrath for 2 nights with my husband. Very luxury hotel. We booked a deluxe room, so it was big, with comfortable bed, city view, Espresso machine and free Internet access. The ho

tel spa was free for the guests and offered a swimming pool, sauna, bath. The staff was pleased and helpful. The only disadvantage is that the reception area was rather small. Wonderful hotel!

Was there for the 2nd time and didn't disappointed at all. The rooms are luxurious, although the bathroom is a little bit small, but equipped quite well. The breakfast was tasty. \nYou just need

to spend some time to reach the city-centre, but the Station is nearby, so it's not so long in all.\nSwimming pool and Spa services were much in time at the end of the day.

It's a great and luxury one! So much recommended! \nLocation is quite the center. Window views are either at the river or in the street. All kinds of transport are some foot-steps away, t.i. cent

ral railway station, bus stop, underground that will bring you to any city district.\nThe service is 1st class! Spa choice and culinary delights.\nThank everyone^ from the management to the personal!

It is an excellent 5 star hotel, which service level and offered amenities equal its perfectly decorated interiors. I have stayed there 4 months ago, and everything was just as I wanted! Attentive and

hospitable staff, tasty meals in the Amrath Hotel's restaurant and my guestroom... It was so bright and spacious, and at the same time very cozy) \nThe lodging is ideally located in the heart of Amsterdam, and in a few minutes from the station. I definitely recommend you to pay attention to this hotel. \n

Last summer I stayed in the Amrath Hotel in the center of Amsterdam. Good location, perfect hotel amenities and various and attractive leisure facilities. Surroundings were fascinating!\nMost of all I

have appreciated tasty meals at the hotel's restaurant and the interior of my guestroom!

Overall, it's a good hotel, the room was comfortable, convenient. Neighbors were not heard. Our room was Cleaned well. Breakfast cost 15 euros per a person, so we did not take one. \nNow, the thi

ngs that surprised us:\n1. We were asked to pay extra 25 euros on arrival at the reception desk. They said they didn't succed to transfer the whole amount from my card, i.e. I had had some lack of funds.\n2. The hotel is located in a very residential area, it's impossible to eat somewhere close by (the nearest Chinese restaurant opens in the afternoon, a shopping center with a food court does not even around. Fastfood Sloterdijk Station is 2 tram stops away or a 15 minute walk. But to go to Amsterdam to eat at the railway station ...: (If you'll stay at the Golden Tulip you should get a ticket once a day, fighting off with three trips. However, the above described property is located the way that you need to go with a change of 25-30 minutes to get to the Dam . Though tram stop almost outside the door.\n4. And finally the reception desk could not helped but asked us for more money for the city tax of 1.50 Euros.

If you are looking for a place within a 3-minute walk from the central station, 4 minutes walk from the market square and nearby the city center, if you also would like a private parking for the car,

then you might have found a good five-star hotel will take care of of even before you come in to the hotel ... Grand Hotel Amrath Amsterdam has it all alongside with a comfort and great location.\nIf you feel very anxious about everything the staff you surely solve all doubts and answer all passible questions about your luggage, your room, the leisure time ans so on. Besides, you get free drinks from the minibar, which is comprehensive indeed, with snacks and also nespresso coffee if you want one.\nIf when you're tired mid afternoon, you get to the hotel in five minutes, you go to the bath, sauna, Turkish bath, which are not very big, but they do their job, because you feel relaxed.\nIf you want breakfast there are two services offer full American breakfast for 25 euros per person or French for 12 euros per person. Very expensive. But there's a Starbucks coffee in just two minute walk. For 25 euros breakfast for four.\n\nThe rooms are really great, with very high ceilings, decorated in art nouveau style. The watercloset is separated from the rest of the bathroom, as it should be. No air conditioning, just fans, so if your room faces the city and makes a hot day, you better run the huge blinds to keep out the sun. Of course, the shutters are electric.\n\nIn breif, I would recommend, it's expensive but really recommended.

It was my second stay in this hotel snd I can say - I was totally happy with it. Grand Hotel Amrath Amsterdam is centrally located, close to the train station, the rooms are beautiful, high ceilings,

a bathroom shines with cleaness, the climate control is perfect. Everything that was in a minibar was included in the fee, thus you had pay only for additional stuff. \nBreakfast is very good for Europe, although in comparence to SE Asie it's a sorta poor. Conveniently organized reception - during the documents' procedure you don't have to stand near the counter, so you comfortably sit at the table.\nThe hotel itself is lovely, location - beyond all praise, the equipment of the rooms is at quite high level. A spa with gym, swimming pool (small though), whirlpool (for four) and sauna is open from 7 to 23. \nMaybe you shouldn't have high expection upon the coffee machine, but an electric kettle will save the situation. In the morning, at the bar, visitors can grab a bottle of water and apples. For free, of course.\nThe building of the hotel is just a fairytale castle on the bank of the channel. Endless intricate corridors, in my opinion, just add some entourage. Matchless beauty of stained-glass ceiling. The staff is very helpful and responsive. Great location, especially if you arrive at Central Station - just 5 minutes on foot, close to the Red Light District.
