I have just returned from a fantastic weekend away for my husbands 50th Birthday. I went with my three daughters aged 22,19,17. The eldest daughter
goes to Amsterdam quite a lot and she said that the plaza has been the best hotel by far. We had two queen size room on the first floor with connecting doors. The rooms were clean and the bedding looked brand new. We also had bathrobes and slippers to use for our stay. The hotel also left Complementary chocolate. We made use of the gym, swimming pool and Sauna which we near enough had to ourselves. The hotel supplied all towels for use in the sauna and around the pool. I had trouble with the safe on the first night and security came up straight away and sorted it out. I can not comment on the food in the restaurant because we did not eat in the hotel. We knew the hotel food was quiet expensive so we ate out. The staff were very friendly and polite. I can not fault the rooms or staff in anyway. I would definitely use this hotel again and I would most certainly recommend it.
I’ve booked this hotel through the Internet on my birthday. I with my boyfriend arrived in Schipol airport early in the morning and we needed to be checked in at 10 a.m. When we arrived to the hotel t
he receptionists were so kind and accommodated us immediately. The room was newly renovated and very comfortable. The only disadvantage-not too big, but all the hotels located in the center of Amsterdam suggest not big rooms. The location impressed me most of all-10 minutes of walking and you are in the heart of everything. We’ve spent a great birthday in a great hotel. Highly appreciate The Crowne Plaza City Center hotel!
I stayed at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Center for 5 times as I often go to Amsterdam on business trips. The location of the hotel is great – very close both for the central station and the Dam square
. The interior in the hotel is too old-fashioned and the corridors are very narrow, but the rooms stoke me a lot – wonderful pillows, soundproof system, delicious breakfast. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
I booked this hotel through the Internet and we arrived early in the morning. The receptionist checked us in and gave a wonderful room. It was my birthday and I was presented a bottle of champagne. Th
e location of the hotel is perfect – very close to everything. It is the best hotel in Amsterdam!
Well, I stayed with my family at Crowne Plaza in the middle of March. I've also had some business deals there, so it was pleasure to combine successful business transactions with family vacation.
\nWe have chosen Crowne Plaza on the friends advice and regretted absolutely nothing. Perfect location with historic sights, museums, shopping districts being on the doorstep of the hotel. Sometimes I even made foot walks on the meeting arrangements. \nThe hotel itself embodies old-fashioned outer view with modern stylish interior of the rooms, that are really luxuriant and very homly. \nWhat I mostly liked is well-equipped health club with access to the sauna and the possibility to enjoy the meals in the non-smoking bar.\nWe are fully recommend it!
I used to stay in the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Center Hotel two weeks ago. The lodging is centrally located and very attractive. Professional and pleasant managers in the reception area and very po
lite staff were extremely hospitable, that was nice. My room was very clean, cozy and well equipped. Talking about dining in the hotel.. All the dishes in the restaurant on-sight the lodging were tasty, but rather expensive. But I was there on vacation, so I had no need of saving money.)
Crowne Plaza City Centre is conveniently located next to the Central Station. The hotels has an excellent work on the reception and concierge service, very friendly staff which is always willing to he
lp, both in the hotel issues as matters visits Amsterdam, get tickets, transportation, etc.. \nWe stayed in a suite on the top floor, very large and very comfortable. Everything was very clean, new and with a great care to detail. Despite being the hotel in a bustling area, isolation is pretty good and hardly heard the tram pass. Beds, chairs, work area, balcony, etc, very comfortable and spacious.\nRoom service, we use an APR of times for dinner, very fast and efficient, well-balanced letter, and a good price for this type of hotel. Breakfast is also very good, with the only disadvantage that many hot dishes had to order them, which is always an inconvenience at a buffet. The food was varied and of good quality.
Very decent hotel, but for me it feels like more for business than to a leisure travel. All pretty strict, no frills. The room is very clean and has everything you need. The hotel is conveniently loca
ted near the train station and the main attractions. \nClean, quite friendly with very nice, comfortable bed. \nWhat a perfect location! Next - channels Damme frnari, train station, in the square outside the station - tour bus stops(red, two-story, I do not remember the name, but they are almost in all European cities). Sightseeing tour, by the way, included 2 days museums pass and river boat across the channel. But you need to specify the place of its departure.\nWe were with the elderly, and for us a big importance were the elevators, which not such a common thing in Amsterdam.\nThe hotel itself is very good - location, cleanliness, silence within a walking distance to the main attractions, a 3-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Breakfast expensive, but very rich and diverse. And across the street from the hotel (diagonally right) there's a cafe with hot delicious breakfasts at half price from the hotel's ones. \nWe put a 150 euro deposit for the minibar and there were no problems with getting them back.
