The violinist /dancer’s participation in America’s Got Talent was not that successful, however, the artist stayed true to her style and performance manner. And that proved to be the right decision. She blew up YouTube with her music video “Crystalize”, which was the eighth most watched video in 2012. And in 2013 her video “Radioactive” with Pentatonix received the “Response of the Year” at YouTube Music Awards. There is another good reason to celebrate the 1980s’ in Paris this month, and it’s Bryan Ferry’s concert. The British singer/musician is known to be the founder of the Roxy Music art rock band. But he also proved to be extremely successful in his solo career, rising to fame with his world-known hits including “Let’s Stick Together”, “Slave to Love” and “Don’t Stop the Dance”. It’s been 40 years since Ferry started, but the singer is still active and high-energetic, releasing albums and giving concerts as a solo performer and as the lead vocalist at his band. Bryan Ferry’s discography includes 14 albums, with the 15th planned to be released in November 2014. Listen to his newest creations and the most famous songs that many associate their youthfulness with.

Finish the month of November in a sunny reggae mood. Ayo, the daughter of Nigerian father and Romanian mother, who spent his childhood in Germany, received great success with her 2006 single “Down on My Knees”. Her colourful background permeates throughout her songs, while her music absorbed the best from the European, Asian, American and African styles. Some call her a soul singer, others say it’s rock music with the elements of reggae. Sometimes even the most unusual mixtures come up: jazz and ska, house and reggae. The artist appears to be pretty prolific, as four albums have been released since 2006. Her debut album, “Joyful”, is platinum in Germany and Poland, and is twice platinum in France. She is also the UNICEF patron since 2009. Discover Ayo’s talent November 29th at the Theatre Simone-Signoret, in the Conflans-Sainte-Honorine commune north-west of Paris.
